Last updated: November 7, 2026. This is a draft template. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and adapt it to the analytics, consent and advertising tools you actually run.
The short version
Your images are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. We do not ask you to create an account. Like most websites we receive basic technical data when you visit, and if you allow it, advertising partners may set cookies.
Who is responsible
[COMPANY NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS]. Email: [email protected].
Your images
When you add an image, your browser reads it from your device, compresses it using code that was downloaded with the page, and offers the result for download. The image and the result are not transmitted to our servers and are removed from memory when you close or reload the page.
Data we process
- Server logs. IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referrer, kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest (security and operation of the site). Retention: [PERIOD, for example 30 days].
- Contact messages. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply. Legal basis: your request, or legitimate interest. Retention: [PERIOD].
- Analytics. [DESCRIBE YOUR ANALYTICS TOOL, OR DELETE THIS ITEM IF NONE.] Legal basis: consent where required.
- Advertising. See the next section.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show personalized or non-personalized ads, to measure them and to prevent fraud. Where required, ads and related cookies are only loaded after you give consent through our consent banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer. You can also learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
Essential cookies, such as one that remembers your consent choice, do not need consent.
Who receives data
Our hosting provider, our email provider, and, if you allow it, advertising and analytics providers. Some of them may be located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to [email protected] to exercise them.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age set by local law), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
